Lila Grace Nielsen passed away Nov. 14, 1977 at Hancock Memorial Hospital, Britt. Funeral services were held Nov. 17, 1977 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake, with the Rev. Jerry E. Robertson officiating. Casketbearers were Howard Stevens, Loren Roberts, Morris Kluver, Willard Peck, Raymond Johnson and James Nelson. She was laid to rest in Crystal Township Cemetery, Crystal Lake.

Lila Grace Nielsen, the daughter of Louis and Elva (Shelton) Eenhuis, was born Sept. 10, 1936 in Kanawha, Iowa. She was confirmed in the Methodist Church, Forest City and graduated from Forest City High School. She was married to Harold Nielsen, July 2, 1955, at Crystal Lake. They farmed in the Crystal Lake area all of their married life and were members of the Calvary Lutheran Church, Crystal Lake. She is survived by her husband, Harold; five sons: Lamont and his wife, Sheryl, Forest City; Robert, Howard, Brian and Gordon, all at home; one grandson, Aaron; her parents, Louis and Elva Eenhuis; five sisters: Margaret Plagge, Clear Lake; Joretta (Walter) Riggle, Glenville, Minn.; Mary (Marshall) Thompson, Lake Mills; Esther (Dennis) Taylor, Forest City; and Jeanette (Dennis) Dodd, Miller; two brothers: Michael (Denise) Eenhuis, Wakefield, Kansas; and Lyle Eenhuis, Forest City; She was preceded in death by a brother in infancy.
