GOODELL - Zelma Martin, 83, formerly of Goodell, died on Sunday (June 13, 1999) in Marietta, Ga. Interment services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Amsterdam Cemetery in Goodell, with the Rev. John Murray of Calvary Baptist Church in Belmond officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home, Belmond.

Zelma (Trager) Martin was born on Aug. 21, 1915, in Clarion, the daughter of Herman and Myrtle (Reed) Trager. She lived most of her life in Goodell. She married Roy Bachman, and they had one son, David Michael Bachman. Zelma wed George Martin after her first husband passed away, and the couple moved to Latimer. Zelma moved to Marietta, Ga. 15 years ago, where her son, David, resides. She was a postal worker for the United States Postal Service.

She is survived by her son, David Bachman, of Marietta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Agnes (Mrs. Arthur) Trager; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Roy Bachman and George Martin; and two brothers, Arthur Trager and Edwin Trager.
