BRITT — Lola Faye Kahlstorf, 73, died Saturday (Jan. 3, 1998) at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Wm. Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ewing Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Lola Faye Kahlstorf was born Aug. 22, 1924, in Blairsburg. Survivors include her husband, Harold Kahlstorf; one daughter, Sandi Giles of Clinton; three sons, Gary Kahlstorf and Dan Kahlstorf, both of Britt, and Bob Kahlstorf of Alabaster, Ala.; three sisters, Evelyn Busick of Eagle Grove, Mildred Johnson of Rockwell, and Ruby Taylor of Garner; two brothers, Dale Gates of Marshalltown, and Ray Gates of Eagle Grove; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, one sister, and one brother.
