CLARION — Althea J. Lewis, 87, died Wednesday (April 1, 1998) at the Clarion Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Church of Christ with the Rev. Curt Miner officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Willim Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Althea Jane Richards Lewis was born May 26, 1910, in Clarion. Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey R. of Des Moines and Allan J. of Ankeny; a sister, Frances H. Larson, Clarion; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters.
