Ted Donald Jorgensen
16 September 1968 ---- 30 January 2000

Ted Jorgensen was born on September 16, 1968, to Donald and Connie Schnittjer Jorgensen at Fort
Dodge, Iowa. He grew up and attended Eagle Grove Schools, Eagle Grove, Iowa, graduating with the
class of 1987. Following graduation, he served his country for three years in the Army. After being discharged, he attended Iowa Central Community College for two years, then attended the University of Northern Iowa, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in accounting. Immediately following graduation, he passed the Certified Public Accounting Examining Board test. At the time of his death, he was employed with Lalor Construction in Eagle Grove. He was a member of the National Dart Association, and was part of the Lalor Racing pit crew.

Ted Jorgensen died Sunday, January 30, 2000, at his home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 31. He is survived by his parents, Donald Jorgensen, Vincent, Iowa, and Connie Jorgensen, Indianola, Iowa; two sisters, Laurie Uttermarkt, and husband, Matthew, Norwalk, Iowa, and Stacey Jorgensen, Eagle Grove; one brother. Curt Jorgensen, Eagle Grove; one nephew, Austin Uttermarkt; special friends, Al and TeriJo Pohlman and family, Eagle Grove; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Lorraine Jorgensen, and Ted and Betty Schnittjer; and two uncles, Duane and Paul Jorgensen.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 3, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in
Eagle Grove with the Reverend William Ballard officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
