Passed away December 29, 2015
She was born February 16, 1927 in New Hampton, Iowa to James and Lillie Littell. She married Frank Goodson, and they made their home in New Orleans. After he died in a boating accident, she and the children moved to Minnesota. She later married Sam Hobbs. He succumbed to ALS and she relocated to Albuquerque to be closer to family.

Survivors are her children Pamela, (Jerry) Langheim, Julie (Steve) Kinner, Robert (Michele ) Goodson. She has seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial service Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 4PM at the Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home, 612 S. Smith Ave., St. Paul with visitation one hour prior to the service. Family interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, Iowa.

Cecelia (Littell) Hobbs, 88, formerly of Clarion passed away December 29, 2015.

Memorial graveside services for Cecelia (Littell) Hobbs will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion. Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion is assisting the family with local arrangements.

Cecelia Anne (Littell) Hobbs was born February 16, 1927 in New Hampton, Iowa to James and Lillie (Dutton) Littell. She was raised in Clarion, and graduated from Clarion High School.

Cecelia was united in marriage to Frank Goodson. The couple made their home in New Orleans, Louisiana and Frank later died in a boating accident. Cecelia and the children moved to Minnesota. She was later united in marriage to Sam Hobbs.

Cecelia is survived by her three children Pamela (Jerry) Langheim of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Julie (Steve) Kinner of Annandale, Virginia and Robert (Michele) Goodson of Lakeville, Minnesota. She also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren and sixteen cherished great-grandchildren. Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands Frank Goodson and Sam Hobbs.

In lieu of flowers, Cecelia’s family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
