Virgil Middleton, 89, Webster City, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Virgil May Dingman, daughter of Francis and Clara Dingman Dingman, was born January 8, 1912 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools. On March 25, 1949 she married Albert J. Middleton at Leon. The couple resided in Webster City. She had been employed at the Hamilton County Public Hospital, the McMurray family and had done housekeeping work in Webster City.

Mrs. Middleton is survived by her husband, Albert, daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Denny Hilpipre, Woolstock, Marsha and Bruce Pressler of Muscatine; grandchildren, Sheri Pressler of the Netherlands, Brian Pressler of Ames, Sara Faltys of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Nicholas Hilpipre of Bloomington, Minn.; sister Evelyn Goranson of Eagle Grove; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Allie and William Dingman; sisters Zella Dingman and Gladys Lane.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, was a dedicated homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting and sewing.
