Helen Loux, 83, Webster City, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001 at her home. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Rev. Travis Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the French Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service time at the church. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home.

Helen Marie Loux, daughter of George and Lena Claude Loux, was born April 4, 1918 on a farm northeast of Woolstock. She attended rural schools in that area and graduated from Woolstock high school. She had been employed at Place's department store and had resided in Webster City for over 40 years.

Ms. Loux is survived by a sister-in-law, Carmen Loux of Eagle Grove; nephews, Dr. James Loux of Clear Lake; Steve Loux of Thor and niece, Janet Sneiderman of Sheldon. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald, Emil and Charles Loux.

Helen was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, RSVP, and attended Congregate Meals all in Webster City.
