George Bahn Plasterer
December 29, 1917 --- February 15, 1997

George Bahn Plasterer was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, on December 29, 1917. He graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1936, and from Iowa State University in Ames in 1940, with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for John Deere in Waterloo for 13 years, and Aerospace for 35 years. He lived in Phoenix for 7 years. He moved to Los Angeles in 1961. His first wife, Lois, died in an accident. He married Hilda (Dottie) in 1964.

George Bahn Plasterer, Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Eagle Grove, died Saturday, February 15, 1997, at Berkley Valley Convalescent Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., at the age of 79.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda D. Plasterer; sons, Philip and Roger; stepdaughter, Carolyn Bracketti; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, February 22, 1997, at 11 a.m., at The Church at Rocky Peak in Chatsworth, Calif.
