Mrs. John Gustafson received more details in a letter from friends Wednesday concerning her son, Otto Griffith, who is critically ill in a hospital in West Los Angeles. The letter stated that Otto had been ill for the past three years, suffering from high blood pressure, and had been in the veterans convalescent hospital in West Los Angeles since March 27th, and last Wednesday was transfered to the main hospital.

His condition is regarded as serious and no hopes are held for his recovery.

Otto has been in the navy for years, and was honorably discharged three years ago on account of his health.
