Susanna "Susan" Nosbisch West
September 20, 1876 — January 24, 1972

Funeral services will be this (Thursday) morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church for Mrs. Susan West, 95.

Mrs. West died Monday morning at the Clapp Custodial Home where she had been a patient for several days.

Rev. E. W. Lechtenberg will have charge of the services and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Members of Sacred Heart parish participated in the Rosary meditation Wednesday evening at Kastler-Babcock funeral home.

Mrs. West is survived by one son, Joseph of Eagle Grove.

Mrs. West was born in Effingham, Ill., Sept. 20, 1876. She moved to Marshall County, Iowa with her parents when she was five years old. She attended school at Haverhill, Iowa, and was married there to Gust West on Oct. 11, 1897.

They came to the Eagle Grove area right after their marriage and farmed east of Eagle Grove. In 1944 they moved to their home on East Broadway. Mr. West died in 1959.
