Charles Wanken
March 28, 1896 — July 22, 1967

Charles Wanken, 71, was found dead in his home Saturday afternoon. He had been dead several hours. He had not been well for some time but his death was unexpected.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. J. J. Brickley officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Wanken is survived by three step-sons, Clifford Norris of Elgin, Ill., Bernard Norris of San Francisco, Calif., and Robert Norris of Denver, Colo., also three brothers and one half-brother, Pete and Edward Wanken of Eagle Grove, Louis of Hawthorne, Calif, and Frank Shanker of Porterville, Calif.

Mr. Wanken's late wife was the former Mrs. Sadler Norris.
