EAGLE GROVE – Funeral services for Mrs. Wilbur Glen Smith, 38, will be conducted 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Eagle Grove. She died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

Survivors include her husband and six children, Jane, Jimmy, Nancy, Elizabeth, Margaret and Gary, and her mother, Katherine Wehrheim.

Mrs. Wilbur G. Smith, 38, died in a Rochester. Minn., hospital Thursday after surgery. Funeral services for her were conducted in Sacred Heart chapel at 9:30 a. m. Monday by the Rev. Fr. Maurice Mullan. Pallbearers were Thomas Hart, Dwight Anderson, Richard Tomke, John Henneberry, John Sterling and Richard Hotz. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born Mary Elizabeth Wehrheim, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wehrheim in Eagle Grove, May 26, 1919. She graduated from Eagle Grove high school in 1937 and as a nurse from St. Anthony's hospital, Carroll, in 1941. She nursed in Fort Dodge.

She and Wilbur G. Smith were married in Webster City in 1941. They are the parents of six children, Jane, 15; James, 12; Nancy, 7; Elizabeth, 5; Margaret, 4, and Gary, 2. Her four daughters, two sons and their father survive her.

Among other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Katherine Wehrheim, two brothers Dr. F. W. Wehrheim of El Paso, Tex., and Robert Wehrheim of Clarion, and two sisters Mrs. Richard Henegar of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Robert Divine of Omaha, Neb. Her father and two brothers, Lawrence and William preceded her in death.
