Harry Grande, 90, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2006, at the Scenic Manor, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Harry Grande will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 13, 2006, at the Linn's Funeral Chapel, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls.

Harry Ardell Grande was born April 19, 1916, at Atwater, Minnesota, the son of John Arnt and Hattie Christine [Wallein] Grande. He attended the Atwater, Minnesota Community Schools graduating with the class of 1934. On July 19, 1951, he was united in marriage to Evelyn June Attwooll, at Atwater, Minnesota. He was the Proprietor of the Ben Franklin Store, Iowa Falls from 1957 until he retired in 1991. He had owned the National 5 & 10 in Oelwein prior to moving to Iowa Falls.

Harry is survived by his wife: Evelyn Grande of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and three sisters: Myrtle Nelson and husband Robert of Grass Valley, California, Eleanor Johnson of Willmar, Minnesota, and Janis Lingren and husband Marvin of Pennock, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Hattie Grande; and one brother-in-law: Everett Johnson.
