A former resident of the Eagle Grove - Goldfield area, Mrs. Deborah A. Kulow, was stabbed to death in her home Saturday, Aug. 18 in Iowa City. Mrs. Kulow's husband of two years,- Ronald Lee, 32, was charged with first degree murder by Iowa City Police. The stabbing occurred around noon Saturday at the Kulow's residence at 1024 E. Washington Street in Iowa City. Mrs. Kulow, 27, is the daughter of Gene Thompson of Goldfield. Memorial services were held at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Her body was donated to science. Mrs. Kulow is survived by her father; step-mother Judi Thompson of Goldfield; mother, Janice Levus; seven brothers and sisters: Pam Rubenking, North Carolina; Jeffrey of Jewell; Lori Ann of Boone; Michael of Ogden; Laura Marie of Clarion; Lisa and Lynette of Goldfield; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Thompson of Urbana, Ill.; and step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Burras of Eagle Grove.
