Robert Pals, 95, of Belmond passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond, Iowa. Funeral services was held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery. Visitation were held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Robert Dale, son of Herman and Dena (Peil) Pals, was born on June 6, 1926 in Alexander. In 1953, Robert moved to the farm near Meservey. Robert farmed most of his life in the Alexander area. In 1983, he moved into Alexander with his mother to take care of her. In 2015, Robert moved to Belmond. Robert is survived by his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Dena; and siblings Glen Pals, Irene Koenen, and Bernice Suntken.
