Catherine Zielin of Olympia, Washington passed away Dec. 4, 2011. Born in Clarion, Iowa on Oct. 31, 1919, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Zielin (1989). She is survived by her son Ronald Zielin (Brenda) of Lacey, granddaughter Pamela Zielin of Kent, grandson Craig Zielin of Tumwater, and two great-grandchildren, Dustin Hird of Olympia and Joshua Hird of Tacoma. She was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2733 Marvin Rd SE, Lacey.

A memorial service will be held at the church on Sat., Dec. 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Donations may be made to the church or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are with Funeral Alternatives of Washington, Lacey.
