Brian G. Erickson passed away on Sept. 21, 2021, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Brian, son of Orville and Sylvia Larson Erickson, was born on March 2, 1949. He grew up on a farm near Badger. He attended the Eagle Grove schools, ICCC and the University of Iowa.

Brian served with the U.S. Marines, including two campaigns in Viet Nam. He spent most of his working career as an over-the-road truck driver. He lived in Arizona prior to returning to Iowa.

Brian is survived by sisters, Marilyn Keck, Colorado, Bonnie Erpelding, Algona, Barbara Mukelbust, Colorado; brother David (Mary) Erickson, North Carolina; sister-in-law Anne Erickson, Fort Dodge; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Gary and Vernon; sister Violet Ann Carlson; brothers-in-law, Harold Carlson, Don Keck, Maurice Erpelding and Al Mukelbust; and sister-in-law Rose Hanson.

Graveside services were held on Monday, Oct. 11, at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge.
