The funeral for Janice Olson, 73, of Russellville, Arkansas who died Monday, April 20, 2009, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Mike Danchenko officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Campus Crusade for Christ, Attn: Mike and Julie Greenfield, 2741 Teton Stone Run, Orlando, FL 32828.

Janice Ulaine Read Olson, 73, Russellville, Ark. died Monday, April 20, 2009, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

She was born December 30, 1935, in Deedsville, Ind. to Wayne and Marie Klaver Read. She married Dewey Olson in 1956, and moved with her husband and children to Russellville in 1965. Her most enjoyable moments were traveling with her late husband and spending time with her family. She was a great woman of faith and a source of inspiration to her family and all who knew her. Her strength and optimism were just some of her many virtues. She was a member of the Russellville Christian Center and a founding member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Beulah Miller.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Barbara and Don and Tina, all of Russellville, Doug and Lora of San Antonio, Texas, and Dean and Christie of Conway; a brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Chris Read of Webster City, a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Jerry Frazier of Webster City; and six grandchildren, Christopher and his wife, Lisa of Conway, Alicia of Denver, Colo., Dereck of Utsunomiya, Japan, Ashton of Russellville, and Caleb and Corey, both of San Antonio, Texas.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Shinn Chapel with the Rev. Mike Danchenko officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Dennis, Don, Doug, Dean, Christopher, and Dereck Olson.

Visitation will be from 57 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Campus Crusade for Christ, Attn: Mike and Julie Greenfield, 2741 Teton Stone Run, Orlando, Florida 32828
