Delores Bennett, 62, of Webster City, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Revs. John Grebner and Gerald Caquelin officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield. Visitation will be at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

Delores Ann Larson, daughter of John and Elvira Williams Larson, was born Sept. 22, 1942 at Iowa City. She received her education in the Webster City schools, graduating from Lincoln High in 1962. On October 6, 1970, she married Gene Autry Bennett at Trinity Lutheran Church. She had been employed at Wilson Foods at Eagle Grove, Franklins (Electrolux) at Webster City, Globe Union at Fort Dodge, as a cook and school bus driver for the Webster City school system, a driver for Ha-Ride and also a driver for Head Start.

Delores is survived by her husband, sons and daughter-in-law, Donald and Heli Bennett of Lincoln, Ne., Lon Bennett of Webster City, daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Shawn Clark of Dows. grandchildren, Millia and Yenny Heikkmen; Rachel Bennett and Jessica Woods; brothers, John Larson of Iowa City; Darwin Larson of Witmore, Ks., sisters, Sandra Powell of Goldfield; Darline Griffin of Webster City; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Michael Holbrook; niece, Karen Just; great-niece, Hannah Stubberud, brother-in-law, Donald Powell.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Royal Neighbors and the American Legion Auxiliary.
