Former Resident Buried Here
Graveside rites were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Rose Hill cemetery for Thomas P. Hodge, 76, in charge of Rev. Roy Cox. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Fargo, N.D. Mr. Hodge, a former Eagle Grove resident, died Wednesday, May 1st in Fargo, N. D.

Mr. Hodge was born in Webster City, April 23, 1881. He was graduated from Eagle Grove high school in 1899 and moved to Fargo in 1901 where he was in the real estate business for many years.

He is survived by two sons Kenneth of Minneapolis, and Norton of Los Angeles, and daughter Mrs. Helen Armstrong of Minneapolis, two brothers Charles E. of Los Angeles and Melville H. of Rock Island, Ill. Melville Hodge was here for the service Wednesday morning.

Local residents of the class of 1899 of Eagle Grove high school attended the services and later were entertained in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bean.
