Lyman Christopher, 65, of Thor, died Friday at the H. K. Larson home near Thor where he has made his home for many years. He was engaged in farming.

Mr. Christopher is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mabel Parker of Eagle Grove, four brothers, Herman in Alberta, Canada, Ed and Albert of Eagle Grove and John of Thor.

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Thor Lutheran church Rev. Orville L. Olson will have charge and interment will be in Norway cemetery, Thor.

Pall bearers will be Russell Christopher, Gordon Christopher, Richard Christopher, Kenneth Thompson, Meinhard Dornath and Orin Halgrim.

His brothers, in this vicinity, were away at the time and Ed returned Wednesday from Phoenix and Albert from St. Louis, Mo., John who is in the south does not plan to return for the rites.

Thor—Funeral services for Lyman Christopher, 65, of Thor were held at the Thor Lutheran church Thursday. The Rev. Orville L. Olson officiated and interment, in charge of Kastler funeral home of Eagle Grove, was in Norway cemetery. Mrs. Alvin Thorson was the organist, and John Moklebust, soloist. Flowers were arranged by Mrs. Manly Biondahl and Mrs. John Carter. Casket Bearers were Russell Christopher, Gordon Christopher, Richard Christopher, Kenneth Thompson, Meinhard Dornath and Orrin Halgrim. Ushers were Robert Prunty, Lewis Wergeland, Jr., Alvin Halgrim and Ephraim Halgrim.

Lyman O. Christopher, son of Gudman and Julia Christopher, was born Oct. 11, 1892, near Thor. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith and was a member of the Thor Lutheran church.

He was engaged in farming near Thor where he lived his entire life. He made his home with the H. K. Larson family for about the past 40 years and it was there that he passed away Feb. 7 at the age of 65 years and 4 months.

Survivors include his sister, Mabel Parker of Eagle Grove and brothers Herman of Canada. Edward and Albert of Eagle Grove, John of Thor and Millard of Chicago. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
