Mildred Shaw Harris
February 18, 1920 --- June 30, 1990

MILDRED HARRIS
Mildred Shaw was born on February 18, 1920, the daughter of Ole and Julia Johnson Shaw, at Belmond. She received her education in schools in Belmond and Clarion. Mildred was united in marriage to Walter LeRoy Harris of Eagle Grove on January 28, 1945, at the First Baptist Church, Blue Earth, Minn. She was a member of the Park Church of Christ, Goldfield.

Mildred Harris died of a heart related illness at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion on
January 30, 1990 at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, Oscar and Lewis; three sisters, Jennie Shaw; Mary Monson; and Minnie Schroder. She is survived by two daughters, Jolene Harris, Eagle Grove; and Mrs. Irvin (Debra) Schoelkoph of Ames; one brother, James Shaw, Story City; three Sisters, Ruth Boggs, Story City; Carrie Nelson, Belmond; Clara Harris, Fort Dodge; and two granddaughters, Rachel and Laura.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on February 2 at the Park Church of Christ in Goldfield. The Rev. Tony Brandt officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
