JANET MARIE FAGEN
Janet Marie Fagen was born May 20, 1938, at Eagle Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Garold and Margaret Griffith Smith. She was educated in the Eagle Grove schools. Her marriages to Larry Ruiter in 1956, Jerry Bohy in 1968, and Ron Fagen, in 1980, were ended by divorce. Janet had returned to Eagle Grove after living in Springfield, Mo. just last November. She died in an auto accident north of Woolstock, Iowa, on the night of Feb. 16, at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 26 days.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Smith, and grandmother, Iva Smith, both of Eagle Grove; a daughter, Ramona Bergman, Eldora, Iowa; sons: Randy Ruiter, Rosemont, Oregon; Rodney Ruiter in
Germany, and Travis Bohy, Eagle Grove, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, grandfather and one son, Ronald.

Funeral services were held at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home, Eagle Grove at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21. Rev. Charles Dutton, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Eagle Grove, officiated, and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, at Eagle Grove.
