William John Miller
18 April 1940 --- 4 June 2002

William J. Miller died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at his home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 62. Survivors include children, Sherry Hanson, Baltic, S. D.; Larry Miller, and wife, Marcia, Baltic; Dawn Krein, Brookings, S. D.; LuAnne Pedersen, and husband, Jeff, Eagle Grove; Rodney Klein, and wife, Laurie, Eagle Grove; and Vickie Soma, Glendale, Ariz.; step-children, Robert Klein and wife, Mary, Duncombe, Iowa, Linda Cottrill, and husband, Alfred, West Union, W. Va., and Danny Klein, and wife, Linda, Duncombe; 33 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; special nephew, John Schaeffer, Sioux Falls, S. D.; two sisters, Beulah Parkinson, Sioux Falls, S. D., and Enia Koopinan, California; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beulah; step-daughter, Sharon Allison; granddaughter; Genie Soma; great-grandson, Dustin Klein; and a sister, Mary Schaeffer.

William "Bill" J. Miller, the son of John and Minnie (Schaeffer) Miller, was born on April 18, 1940, in Flandreau, S.D. He was raised and educated in the area of his birth. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Friedel on November 28, 1958, at Pipestone, Minn. After their marriage, they lived in Brookings and Sioux Falls, S.D. He then moved to Webster City, Iowa, before moving to Eagle Grove in 1975. On April 17, 1981, he married Beulah (Read) Klein at Sioux Falls, S. D They made their home in Eagle Grove. She died on May 31, 1999.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 7, at 1 p.m., at The Church of the Open Bible in Eagle Grove with Dr. Lloyd Meyer officiating. Burial was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
