Cleo May Damon Hill
24 May 1919 --- 12 February 1964

Mrs. Cleo May Hill, 44, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, at the hospital in Britt, as the result of a two-car crash. Funeral services were held at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kenneth Torvik, of Strawberry Point, in charge, Monday at 2:00, with interment at Rose Hill cemetery.

Cleo May Damon was born at Vincent May 24, 1919 to Henry Bert and Abbie Harris Damon. She attended the Eagle Grove schools. On May 24, 1941 she married Orville J. Hill at Eagle Grove. She was a long-time member of the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church and at the time of her death was an officer in the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving her are her son, Clinton; her mother, Mrs. Abbie Damon of Eagle Grove; three brothers, Walter, Arthur, and Ivan all of Brighton, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Genenning of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Sylvia Anderson of Waterville, Mrs. Ione Sherlock of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Bill Turner of Mason City.
