Amos Nervig
25 March 1890 --- 20 August 1967

Amos Nervig was born March 25, 1890 near Eagle Grove to Amond and Rachel Nervig. He was baptized as an infant and on November 29, 1904 was confirmed in the East Side Lutheran Church. He died at the Sisson Nursing Home in Humboldt August 20, 1967 after reaching the age of 77 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

Mr. Nervig spent his working days farming and railroad work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen, and brothers, Severt and Joseph. Those who mourn his departure are 3 brothers: Peter, LaCenter, Washington; Ole and Martin of Eagle Grove, a sister, Mrs. Mabel Anfinson of Clarinda, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 22 at 2:00 in the chapel of Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev W. E Carlson. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
