Ann Erickson Henderson died June 10, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona, following several difficult months in a skilled nursing facility. She was born June 2, 1939, to Jordan and Irene Erickson in Long Beach, California, with her childhood years spent in Minnesota, Arkansas, and Iowa. She graduated from Kanawha High School in 1957, from Iowa State University in 1961, and subsequently earned an M.S. at Cornell University and a J.D. at the University of Tennessee. She taught home economics in Sioux City and Iowa City, worked for the Bureau of Labor in Washington, D.C., taught economics at Dartmouth College, and held several legal positions in Missouri prior to her retirement to Tucson in 1998.

Ann is survived by her sister, Ellen (Stevan) Holm of Ames; a niece, Amy (Matt) Brown of Waukee; a nephew, Eric Holm, of Denver, Colorado; and her special friend, Bill Kinsley. Ann particularly enjoyed 60 years of friendship with her ISU Gamma Phi Beta sorority sisters. She was predeceased by her father, Jordan (1964), her mother, Irene (2008), her sister, Jorrene (2006), and her brother, Eric (2009).

Ann's light is gone; but the happy memories we hold of her will always warm our hearts.
