Myron Herman Cox
1 February 1902 --- 19 January 1966

Myron Herman Cox was born February 1, 1902 in Eagle Grove, Iowa, to Rolla K. and Emma Ahrens Moon Cox. He died at the hospital at Urbana, Illinois on January 19, 1966 after reaching the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 17 days. Death was from emphysema.

On July 1924 he married Edith J. Hill at Clarion and they made their home at Champaign, Illinois where he was a building contractor. He was baptized at Champaign.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Those who mourn his departure are: his wife, Edith, one son, Richard of Urbana, one granddaughter, Cynthia, a brother Ralph Cox of Clarion, and a half-brother, Arthur Moon of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 22, 1966 at Kastler Funeral Home. Rev. H. W. Schiller, Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
