February 22, 1915--- January 7, 2001

Eva Mourlam, 85, Clarion, died Sunday, January 7, 2001 at the USA Health Care in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday until the service time.

Eva Mae Hisler, daughter of Edmond and Clementine Emmendoerfer Hisler, was born February 22, 1915 at Woolstock. She received her education in the Webster City schools. On January 30, 1935 she married Raynard H. Mourlam at Webster City. The couple farmed northeast of Woolstock. She had worked at the Willson Hotel. They moved south of Clarion in the late 60s. Mr. Mourlam died December 23, 1974. She moved to the Care Center in March of 1999.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Mourlam of Clarion, grandchildren, Harley Mourlam of Alden, Harry Mourlam of Iowa Falls, Gwen Blanchard of New Hartford, Valerie Mourlam of West Des Moines; 9 great-grandchildren, brother Raynard Hisler of Webster City. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Marceline Demos and Esther Hinds.
