July 31, 1941 --- August 14, 2020

Linda Rae Jetter, 79, of Webster City, died on Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in, Clarion, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at Boman Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 PM, followed by a visitation until 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Graceland Cemetery, in Webster City, Iowa.

Linda was born on July 31, 1941, in Webster City, Iowa to Kenneth and Margaret (Meyer) Hadaway. She attended the Webster City Schools, graduating from high school in 1959. On October 12, 1962, she married Jerry Jetter, in Webster City, Iowa.

Linda spent many years as the caretakers of her parents. Linda supported Jerry as he raced in the Sportsman Class, and after he quit racing, they both worked at the Webster City & Boone Speedways. Linda worked at Beam Industries for five years, and then as a Juvenile Detention Tracker with kids from Hamilton County. She moved to Clinton Iowa where she lived for six years before returning to Webster City to be with her daughter and grandkids.

Linda was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City. She loved spending time with her pets and great granddaughter.

Her family includes daughter Lisa Smith of Webster City; granddaughter Sierra (Wyatt) Opperman of Ellsworth, Iowa; grandson Jacob Smith of West Des Moines; and great granddaughter Rory Opperman.
