Bee W. Braden Jr., 63, of Fremont, Calif., and formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, Nov. 8, in Fremont of cancer.

He was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Goldfield, son of Bee W. and Eva Swain Braden. He married Ada L. Kevan in Waterloo.

Mr. Braden was retired from Pillsbury Mills.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Cheryl Lee Herzog of Fremont and Debra Bee Croop of Livermore, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Donald E. of Bartlesville, Okla.; and his mother of Waterloo; he was preceded in death by his father.

Services tentatively set for 10 a.m. Monday at Fremont Memorial Chapel Mortuary, with burial in Irvington Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
