Bee Worth Braden (1904-1987)

Memorials services for Bee W. Braden, 83, 1322 Forest Ave., will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home with interment following cremation at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Braden died Friday (Nov. 20) at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue following a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 29, 1904, at Goldfield, son of William J. and Allie Yarnell Braden. He married Eva Swain Jan. 30, 1926, at Webster City.

He was foreman for Michael Paint Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1970.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, B. W. Jr. of Fremont, Calif., and Donald of Bartlesville, Okla.; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nadine Atherton of Cottage Grove, Minn., and Margaret Dillard of Santa Barbara, Calif.; he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, a brother, James, and a sister, Louise.

There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Unit at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue or Central Christian Church
