Merle Duane Asbe
22 September 1918 --- 8 May 1974Merle D. Asbe, 55, Kanawha, died Wednesday at a Belmond hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kanawha Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Norway Township Cemetery. Visitation will be until time of services at the Carter Funeral Home, Kanawha. Asbe, a World War II veteran, is survived by his wife, Bernice; two sons, Gilbert, Williamsburg, and Duane, Kanawha; two grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Harold, Kanawha.
