Bertha Jensena Johnson Johnson
12 December 1911 --- 21 June 1979

Mrs. Bertha Jensena Johnson passed away early Thursday morning, June 21, 1979, at the Trinity
Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Bertha was born to Jens and Emma Eittreim Johnson on December 12, 1911, in Eagle Grove, where she also received her schooling. She was baptized in the Evangelical Lutheran Church on January 1, 1912. On December 15, 1928, she was united in marriage to Charles (Polly) Johnson of Eagle Grove in Fort Dodge. They have one daughter Maxine. Those who mourn her departure are: her husband, Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine (Midge) Bailey; one brother, Leonard B. Johnson; one sister, Mrs. Agnes McDaniel; five granddaughters, and many relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were: her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held June 23 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Marvin Berkeland officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
