Grave side rites were conducted at Rose Hill cemetery by Pastor Jordan Jacobsen Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Robert Boyd, 66, of Trenton, Mo. She was the former Maybelle Christensen of Eagle Grove, daughter of the late Peter Christensen. Her father was a shoe repairman here for many years. Mrs. Boyd was killed Saturday afternoon when her car struck a bridge abutment near Des Moines. She was alone in her car.

Coming here for the burial service were her sister Mrs. Andrew Schillinger of Des Moines and her three brothers.

Maybelle Boyd Rites in W. DM
Services for Mrs. Maybelle Boyd, 66, of Trenton, Neb., will be at 10 a. m. Tuesday at McLaren's Funeral Home in West Des Moines, with burial at the Eagle Grove City Cemetery, Eagle Grove. She died Saturday in an automobile accident on S. W. Sixty-third street north of the Raccoon River. Mrs. Boyd was born at Hardy and lived in Des Moines 25 years before moving to Trenton six years ago. She formerly was secretary for the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine in Des Moines. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Methodist Church at Trenton.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; two stepchildren, Leonard Boyd of McCook, Neb., and Mrs. Geraldine Carlyle of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three brothers, Jim Christensen of Des Moines, Tony Christensen of Ames, and Walter Christensen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. Andrew Schillinger, of Des Moines.
