Harold Kessel, 72, of Surprise, an acoustical engineer, died Nov. 26, 1997. He was born in Vincent, Iowa, was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Happy Trails Bowling Team. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; daughters, Candy Bell, Patricia Zivelonghi, Nancy Nagel and Barbra Chubbuck; son, Oliver, two brothers; and 10 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Contributions: American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St, Tempe, AZ 85282. Sunland Mortuary.
