Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Sandvig funeral home for Metz H. Rasmussen, 93. Rev. Norman D. Johnson of Renwick will officiate and burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Mr. Rasmussen died Wednesday morning at his home northwest of Goldfield. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Max Rasmussen of Glendale, Calif., Marshall Rasmussen and Mrs. Helen Folkedahl of Goldfield and Mrs. L. F. Douglas of Belleview, Neb., 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Rasmussen was born in Denmark April 28, 1871 and came to the United States in May of 1884. He was married to Marie Madson [Madsen] at Humboldt March 10, 1898 and they farmed near Hardy for many years. Mrs. Rasmussen died in June, 1940.
