Leland Merle Sebby
13 August 1931 ---- 27 March 1984

Leland M. Sebby, son of Raymond and Mary Bell Sebby, was born on a farm near Clarion on August 13, 1931. He received his education in the rural schools of the area and Clarion High School. He served two years with the Army and farmed for many years. After moving to Clarion he was with the Clarion Police Dept. and recently employed by Winnebago Industries of Forest City.

On Sept. 5, 1969 he was married to Karolyn Olson in South Dakota. Mr. Sebby died on Tuesday afternoon, March 27, 1984 at the Clarion Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. He is survived by his wife, Karolyn; three daughters, Kimberlee at home, Renee and Shanlyn both of Mesa, Ariz.; four step-children, Diana, Donna, Bruce and Debra; ten step grandchildren; and his father, Raymond Sebby of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.

Leland was a member of the First Lutheran Church, American Legion and Masonic Lodge. Funeral services for Leland M. Sebby were held at the First Lutheran Church on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. William Granger officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. The Eyler-Willim Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
