FELMA MICHAELSON
Felma Terwilliger Michaelson, the daughter of Elzie and Martha Ellen George Terwilliger, was born on a farm in Humboldt County, Iowa. She grew up on the family farm and attended the rural schools in Humboldt County, and graduated from the Humboldt High School in 1929. She was united in marriage with Lorne Michaelson on Feb. 14, 1937 at Fort Dodge, Iowa and to this union were borb three children, Edwin, Dean and Karen. The family lived in the Humboldt area for 9 years and then moved to a farm in the Thor-Hardy area, where they lived from 1947 until 1969, when they moved to Humboldt.

In 1971, Felma and Lorne moved to Orlando, Fla. While living in Humboldt County, Felma was an office receptionist for 10 years in the office of Dr. B. F. Michaelson at Dakota City. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a former member of the Grove Township Improvement Club and the area Birthday Club.

She died at the family home in Orlando, Fla. on Monday, Jan. 21, 1985, after an illness of a few months. She is survived by her husband, Lorne of Orlando; a daughter, Karen, Mrs. Phillip McLain of Isanti, Minn.; two sons, Edwin of LeSueur, Minn.; Dean of Little Falls, Minn., six grandchildren, Steven and Kristin Michaelson of LeSueur, Minn.; Brett and Tiffany Michaelson of. Little Falls; Tania and Randy McLain of Isanti, Minn., and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorne Michaelson, were held on Sat., Jan. 26, 1985 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Goldfield. Rev. Ken Peterson officiated and burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield. Visitation was held on Friday at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home.
