Everett L. Fisher, 48, a former Webster City resident, died Wednesday morning at the University hospitals in Iowa City, He had been in ill health for the past four months. Since January, 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher had been residing at Vinton, Iowa.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Marvin E. Brewer officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Everett Leroy Fisher, son of Roy M. and Mary Martin Fisher, was born June 19, 1920 on a farm near Eagle Grove and was reared and educated in the Eagle Grove community.

He was united in marriage June 29, 1941 to Zora Sweazey, and the couple farmed for one year in the Duncombe-Goldfield community. They then moved to a farm near Kamrar, residing there until 1956 when they moved into Webster City where Mr. Fisher was employed as a maintenance mechanic for the former Morton Frozen Foods. On Jan. 1, 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher moved to Vinton where he was manager of the Kleen-Leen Hog Testing Co.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter: Milton Fisher of Minneapolis, Martin Fisher of St. Louis, Mo., Dennis Fisher of Vinton and Jane Ann Fisher of Joplin, Mo.; five grandchildren, Lori, Marty, Laina and Matthew Fisher of St. Louis, and Lisa Dee Fisher of Minneapolis.

Also surviving are his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Fisher of Webster City; five brothers and three sisters, Paul Fisher, Arlington Heights, Ill., Gordon Fisher, Delmont, N.J., Burton Fisher, Tom's River, N. J., Roy Fisher, Jr., with the Air Force at Sault Sainte Marie, Mich., Gary Fisher, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Richard (Doreen) Meyers of Woodbridge, Va., Mrs. Clifford (Rachel) Carpenter of Clarkston, Ga., Mrs. Gary (Gloria) Rubendall of Clarion, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his mother in 1935.
