Mary Alice Stracke Prehm Wood
19 April 1894 ----- 16 June 1953

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Congregational church for Mrs. Ed Wood.

Mrs. Wood died Tuesday afternoon about 4 o'clock in Mercy hospital [Fort Dodge] where she was taken a few weeks ago.

She had been ill for many months and had been hospitalized at various times for surgery and care.

She is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. Forrest Fromm, Mrs. Robert Godfrey of this city; Mrs. Helen Adams of Minneapolis and Ronald Prehm of Brazil, Ind.

Mrs. Adams and Mr. Prehm have arrived for the services.

Her daughter, Mrs. Godfrey became ill Tuesday suffering from aftereffects of a cold, and Wednesday noon was taken to the hospital in Fort Dodge for care. It is expected she will be allowed to come home for the funeral.
