Thomas Scott Dies; Funeral To Be Friday

Thomas E. [Emmett] Scott, 53-year-old Estherville resident, died at 6:15 last night at the Park View clinic from pneumonia and heart complications.

Mr. Scott has done farm work near Estherville for a number of years. He was separated from his wife whose present address is unknown

A nephew, Pvt. Leo Bowen, of Camp Maxie, Tex., arrived Sunday to visit him and is expected to remain here for the funeral which will be held at the Sternborg chapel at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Fred W. Ortmeyer will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Oakhill cemetery.
