Ole Erick Tollefson
1 October 1867 ---- 21 November 1928

Ole Tollefson was born in Norway, Europe Oct. 1, 1867 and died after a short illness in his home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Nov. 21, 1928 at the age of 61 years, one month, and 20 days.

Mr. Tollefson left his native home at the age of 15 years and went to sea, which was a common occupation for so many youth of his community. At the age of 18 years, he came to the U. S. A. to Eagle Grove, Iowa, where he has made his home since.

He was twice married, his first wife died April 25, 1906. He married again to Miss Thea Dalen. Four children were born to this union, the younger of these, a little girl, Ruth, died Oct. 31, 1919.

Mr. Tollefson is now survived by his wife, Mrs. Thea Tollefson and three children, Tillie, Annie, and Orval. Also, by two brothers, Tollef and Severt, both of Minneapolis, Minn., and by one sister, still in Norway.

Funeral services were conducted from the home and from the East Side Lutheran church Friday afternoon. Burial was made in the Rose Hill cemetery.
