Ralph Waldo Osborne
22 February 1903 ---- 7 October 1970

Funeral services for Ralph W. Osborne, 67, Dows, were held from the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday. Military burial was in Fairview Cemetery in charge of the Watson-Beach Post of the American Legion. The Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Osborne died Wednesday morning at Mercy Hospital in Mason City. He had been ill for the past several weeks.

Born on February 22, 1903 in Wright County, he was the son of the late William and Catherine Osborne. He was a life long resident of this community and was a carpenter by trade. He served in World War II with the Army.

On August 25, 1949 at Blue Earth, Minnesota, he was married to Nia Hemenway and she survives. Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters: Elmer, Dows; Wayne, Cherokee; Dr. Harold, Gladbrook; Mrs. Frank (Winnie) Erts, Popejoy; Mrs. June Bates, Burlington and Mrs. Bert (Avonelle) Ferris of Hermosa Beach, California.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Dows American Legion.
