Orval Jacobson died at his home northwest of town Saturday with a complication of flu and pneumonia.

Orville John Jacobson was born July 8, 1915, and passed away at his home early Sunday morning, Dec. 23, 1928. His age was therefore 13 years, five months, and 15 days.

Orville was born but a half mile from the present family home. His brief years have been spent here in the community northwest of Hardy, with his parents.

Since he was three years of age, he has been sick a great deal. He has suffered very much in his short life. But he was always a patient little sufferer, not complaining but bearing it all with a sunny disposition. For the past two years he has been quite well, attending school and being about most of the time. His last illness was only of five days duration, his death being caused by pneumonia and complications. He has gone to be with the Heavenly Father. Th e loss in his home will be Heaven's gain.

He is survived by his father and mother and two brothers, Earl, age 16, and Virgil age [non legible].

He is gone but his memory will linger still in the hearts of those to whom he was near and dear.

Life! I know not what thou art,
But knew that thou and I must part,
And when, or how, or where we met,
I own to me is a secret yet.
Then steal away, give little warning,
Choose thine, own time;
Say not Good Night, but in some brighter clime,
Bid me Good Morning.
