26 June 1897 ---- 31 December 1974Dows - Funeral services for Lorril O. Davis, 77, were held Friday from the United Methodist Church with the Rev. M. C. Sutherland officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery and the Willim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. David died Tuesday at Golden Acres Manor here.
Lorril O. Davis was born June 26, 1897 in Franklin County, the son of Oscar and Sarah Hamblin Davis. He and Dorothy Martin were married April 2, 1919 at Hampton. Mr. Davis was a member of the United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Oscar and Larry both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Glenn of Webster City; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Wava) Allison of Iowa Falls and Mrs. Glen (Irene) Bailey of Grove, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Everet of Ankeny and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Boyington of Granger, Washington and Mrs. Vera Whipple of Hampton. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
