Daisy Beckholt
25 August 1884 ------ 11 June 1924

Daisy Beckholt was born in Knox county, Ohio, Aug. 25, 1884. Two years later, with her parents, she moved to Christian county, Illinois. She lived there till 1900, then moved to the farm near Eagle Grove. In 1910 she moved to town, where she lived until the time of her death, which occurred in Fort Dodge as a result of a serious operation, on June 11, 1924. At the time of her departure, she was 39 years, 9 months, and 16 days old.

She leaves an aged mother, one sister, Mrs. Will Curts of Worthington. S. D., and three brothers, John and Clarence of Eagle Grove, and Frank of San Fernando, Calif.

Daisy was a good member of the Methodist church. She united with the church on Jan. 2, 1916. She was also a member of Class No. 16, where her presence will be missed.

Funeral services were held in the M. E. church on Saturday at 2:00 o'clock. The sermon was preached by W. G. Muhleman, the pastor. The body was placed to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
