Mildred Lucile Christensen
7 October 1907 ---- 16 January 1924

Miss Mildred Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Christensen, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. She was taken ill while at school Monday and medical assistance called. Her condition was not considered serious. However, the doctors were in constant attendance, but despite everything that could be done, she passed away early Wednesday morning. She was 17 years of age and a junior in the high school. Her death is a severe shock to her parents and relatives, and the entire community mourns. She is survived by her father and mother and four sisters. One sister, Mrs. Millard Brown, is spending the winter in California and was informed by telephone Wednesday of her sister’s death and stated that she would start for home Wednesday forenoon and reach Eagle Grove late Friday night. Mrs. R. M. Walters, another sister, lives here. Mrs. DeLyle Gottschall, the third sister, lives at Wausau, Wis. The fourth sister, Jean, nine years old, lives with her parents.

The funeral services will be held at the home and M. E. church next Sunday afternoon.
