Miss Alma Tesdal, for the past five years an efficient and accommodating telephone operator at the local exchange, died at her home in this city Tuesday morning after a three-week illness. Her many friends extend the bereaved relatives their sincere sympathy.

Alma Josephine Tesdal was born Oct. 30, 1898, in Humboldt county, Iowa, the daughter of Iver and Anna Tesdal. In 1903, the family moved to Eagle Grove, where she grew to womanhood. Alma was of a quiet, unassuming disposition, faithful to her mother, and to her church, much loved by her friends. The last five years she has been employed at the Northwestern Bell Telephone office in this city.

She died Tuesday morning, Dec. 2nd, after an illness of three weeks, age 26 years, 1 month, and 2 days.

She leaves her mother, Mrs. Anna Tesdal, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Lilleskau of Vincent, and Mrs. Gladys Sadler of Eagle Grove. Also, five brothers, Lars of New England, N. D., Christ, Andrew, Henry and Ingvald, all of Eagle Grove. Her father, Iver Tesdal, passed here in Eagle Grove April 6, and her brother, Willie, passed away Nov. 16, 1920.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, Dec. 6th, at 1:30 from the home and 2:00 'o'clock from the East Side Lutheran church.
